Collegiate & Professional Experience
Robert Nuñez brings elite-level experience across both collegiate and professional baseball. He currently officiates in top NCAA conferences including the ACC, Conference USA, American Conference, and Big 12. His professional career spans 8 years working through MiLB and MLB, including appearances in the Arizona Fall League (2022) and MLB Spring Training (2023). In 2023, he earned a call-up opportunity and made his MLB debut in Replay on July 15.

International & Championship-Level Officiating
Robert has built an impressive international resume, serving as an umpire in the Puerto Rican Winter League since 2018. He has been selected to officiate in multiple high-profile events, including three Caribbean World Series (2023 in Caracas, 2024 in Miami, 2025 in Mexicali, and 2026 in Jalisco) as well as the 2026 World Baseball Classic in Houston, Texas. His first NCAA Regional appearance came in 2025 at LSU, further highlighting his advancement at the collegiate level.

Leadership & Development
In addition to his on-field accomplishments, Robert has taken on leadership roles within professional baseball. From May through September (2024–present), he has served as a Crew Chief in the American Association, working both playoff and championship rounds in 2024 and 2025. His passion for developing the next generation of umpires and sharing his knowledge is the foundation of this clinic—providing attendees with real-world insight and access to high-level instruction.
